Save The Strays Foundation of Milwaukee is dedicated to improving the quality of life and providing second chances to stray cats and dogs in Milwaukee County. We do not rescue animals directly, instead, we work with local shelters and rescues to provide resources for strays in need. Whether it is neonate kittens or senior dogs, every stray is eligible for help through our foundation.

Strays often end up without a home due to chronic or acute medical conditions. At Save the Strays we provide resources for animals in medical crisis to help rescues or shelters provide care that may be out of reach but will result in an animal living a full and happy life in a new home.

Helping The Community Feed Their Strays
Save The Strays Foundation of Milwaukee provides donations of food for foster animals, including milk replacer for nursing kittens and other supplies to ensure they have what they need to thrive, maintain health and get ready for adoption.

Fostering Saves Lives
We are very strong supporters of local foster programs and will supply grants of foster parents supplies for kittens, adult cats and dogs with medical needs.
